Bobbi Brown Tinted Moisturiser Review

Nude Finish Tinted Moisturiser SPF 15

So, I had run out of my previous tinted moisturiser and wanted to try something new. I’ve been quite drawn to Bobbi Brown’s Nude range as I like the idea of having that effortless radiant skin I had seen in their collection so I decided to pop in store to see what they had to offer. In store I honed in on the tinted moisturisers and I was invited to try some on my skin which I readily agreed to.
As it was being applied I could tell instantly that I was going to like this product it has a slight fresh smell to the formula, nothing offensive, and it went onto my skin incredibly smoothly and provided a light veil of colour subtly marrying slightly darker areas of my face with the other lighter tones giving me a seamless and dewy finish. I was sold. I pranced out of the store, BB bag in hand gleeful with my purchase, and needless to say one month on and I am still loving it!
img 2I am in the shade Medium to Dark and I apply a small amount of moisturiser before application, I then squeeze a large pea sized amount on the back of my hand and dot around my face and use a foundation brush or fingers to work the product into the skin, it has good staying power and I do not touch up throughout the day. I think this is the perfect product for spring/summer as it’s light weight yet still hydrating delivering you that fresh look whilst providing SPF protection, perfect to wear in the warmer months to come.
img3The nude tinted moisturiser range consists of 7 shades with my own shade being second to last of the deeper shades, however Bobbi’s range of BB & CC creams do have richer tones available. Being on the pricey side of a twenty pound note it retails at £29.50 a tube but for me it’s definitely worth it and I would purchase again, If I’m opting for an off day minimal look I wear with a dab of concealer under my eyes pair with soft rosey cheeks and a slick of gloss & I’m good to go.dscn0231

Tip -If your looking for that dewy look on a budget a good alternative is Revlon’s Photoready BB Cream which retails at £9.99 it also provides a dewy finish but can be a tad oily so use sparingly and with powder of course.
Let me know of your fave tinted moisturisers
